PR consultant for founders and growth companies

Most founders have a real story. Almost none have one a journalist can run.

Sumar Nassif, PR consultant.

I am an independent PR consultant working with founders and growth companies across MENA, Europe and the US.

I find the strongest story already inside the business, shape it around what journalists actually cover, and support it with useful data or a clear point of view.

My clients are featured in Fortune and Business Insider, recognised on the Forbes Middle East 30 Under 30 list, and published across the technology, business, healthcare and marketing press.

I work on a retainer or project basis. You work directly with me throughout, with no account managers or agency layers between the strategy and the person speaking to journalists.

Results

I build media presence from zero.

Many clients come to me with no previous media coverage. I help them build a credible presence in the publications their investors, customers and partners already read.

Founders and growth companies taken from no coverage to an established media presence.

Client articles across features, interviews, bylines and expert commentary.

Media relations

Targeted outreach to the reporters who cover your category, with pitches already shaped into something they can genuinely use.

Founder positioning

Defining what you should be known for, then building that position consistently across interviews, commentary, bylines and speaking opportunities.

Bylines & commentary

Ghostwritten articles in your voice, supported by timely expert commentary when relevant stories break in your industry. For many clients, this becomes the most consistent route to meaningful coverage.

Launches & announcements

Funding rounds, product launches and market entries handled as focused campaigns, with the outreach strategy built around the strength, timing and relevance of the news.

Case studies

The work behind the coverage.

A few examples rather than an archive — what the company already had, the angle we found in it, and where it ran.

VR & digital health

X-Technology

Nargiza Noimann-Zander — Founder

Nargiza had strong clinical material and deep expertise, but no established media presence. I positioned her across digital health, workplace wellbeing and healthcare innovation, creating distinct angles for business, health and technology journalists.

AI proptech

Realiste AI

Alex Galtsev — Founder & CEO · Anastasia Denisova — CEO MENA

Realiste had valuable market data and a credible regional story, but limited visibility beyond its immediate network. I turned its data and leadership expertise into clear angles for regional and international business media.

Creator economy

Holy Marketing

Kseniia Petrina — Co-founder & CEO

Kseniia had first-hand experience across Latin America's highly fragmented creator markets. I turned that operational knowledge into clear arguments for the international marketing press.

FAQ

Straight answers.

The 5 things founders ask me before we start.

No — and you should walk away from anyone who says yes. Editorial coverage is not for sale. What I commit to is the volume of qualified pitching, the quality of the angles, and how fast we move when a story breaks in your category.

Globally, across English-language press — MENA, the US, the UK and Europe. In practice that means the Gulf's national dailies and business titles alongside US and UK trade press in your specific sector.

There is no fixed timeline, and anyone who offers you one is guessing. A journalist decides independently whether a story is worth their readers' time, so coverage is earned rather than scheduled.

What I do control is how quickly we are ready to move: the positioning, the strength of the angle, and how fast you can respond when a relevant story breaks in your industry. Some articles come together in a week, others take a couple of months. The work compounds — once your commentary is on record, the next approach is easier to make.

Sometimes, and I will tell you if so. If you have no product in anyone's hands, no data and no clear position on your industry, there is nothing for a journalist to write about yet — and spending on PR at that stage burns runway.

You are ready when you have at least 1 of these 3: users doing something measurable, proprietary data nobody else holds, or a genuinely contrarian view you are willing to defend in print.

By whether the right people read it. 1 article in the publication your buyers already subscribe to is worth more than 10 in outlets nobody in your category opens. I report on where you appeared, what you were quoted saying, and how that coverage is being used in your own sales and fundraising conversations.

I do not report advertising value equivalency. It is a manufactured number that flatters the agency, not the client.
